Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra

Shenzhen, also known as Pengcheng, is a modern metropolis that links Hong Kong to China’s mainland.Shenzhen is the window of Chinese Economic Reform, it is the country’s first special economic zone since the Chinese Economic Reform, and has now developed into an influential and internationalised city. The city enjoys the reputations for “city of design”, “city of piano," “city of science and technology”. Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra (SSO) was founded in 1982 and since then it has grown into one of China’s finest professional orchestras. The orchestra has since distinguished itself as having a high level of excellence and a rising international profile. “Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra implacable grandeur performance could have graced the pit of any regional opera house in the United States or Europe” by the Washington Post in 2016. For the further development, SSO would like to invite excellent musicians to join us!
